A little behind the scenes from our shoot in Vancouver B.C.

First off I want to thank the St. Regis Hotel in Vancouver for coming in and graciously hosting us and becoming a sponsor of the HONOUR COUNTRY SACRIFICE project. They were amazing and set us up in the Executive suite which I quickly turned into a fulling functioning studio by moving all the furniture.

Sadly due to the new COVID-19 restrictions implemented in British Columbia we had to cut our weekend of shooting down to one day. Dr. Bonnie Henry announced on the 7th that as of 12am  Nov 8th everyone should stay within their bubbles.

It was heartbreaking to cancel so many sessions but I always say everything happens for the best. It was great to have both Global News and CBC drop in during our session on the 7th it was a great sign to see the outside interest in the project.

Tout d'abord, je tiens à remercier l'hôtel St. Regis de Vancouver de nous avoir gracieusement accueillis et d'être devenu un sponsor du projet HONOUR COUNTRY SACRIFICE. Ils ont été formidables et nous ont installés dans la suite exécutive que j'ai rapidement transformée en un studio fonctionnel en déplaçant tous les meubles.

Malheureusement, en raison des nouvelles restrictions COVID-19 mises en place en Colombie britannique, nous avons dû réduire notre week-end de tournage à une seule journée. Le Dr Bonnie Henry a annoncé le 7 novembre qu'à partir du 8 novembre à minuit, tout le monde devait rester dans ses bulles.

Cela nous a brisé le cœur d'annuler autant de sessions, mais je dis toujours que tout se passe pour le mieux. C'était génial de voir Global News et CBC passer pendant notre session du 7, c'était un bon signe de voir l'intérêt extérieur pour le projet.

Trevor Godinho

With a career spanning more than a decade, Trevor Godinho is an internationally recognized artist and published photographer, his work gracing the pages of Vogue Italia, Elle Canada, FHM France & India, Men’s Health Australia, Sharp Magazine, and much more.

His skill, vision, and passion for his art have led him to travel and establish a reputation in Toronto, New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, London, Milano, and Perth – putting him and his camera in front of notable personalities and Hollywood’s leading men and women. In 2017, Trevor was named the Canadian brand ambassador to Elinchrom Limited (based out of Switzerland).

In addition to photography, having graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree, Trevor’s creative range also includes painting, sculpture, and design. His mastery of these disciplines has led to his work being exhibited at Coldstream Fine Art and the Gardiner Museum in Toronto.

Trevor continues to mentor the next generation of aspiring photographers and artists, who he hopes will continue to tell human interest stories with vision and expressiveness. Trevor is an active supporter of local charities, including NATO Association of Canada, Jays Care Foundation, Remix Project, and CTV and Salvation Army’s Toy Mountain.
