100 Cards for 100 Years

Meeting Fred Arsenault, For those that don’t know Fred he is a staunch supporter of Canadian vets being a veteran of WWII and he recently made the news after his son posted an image asking for 100 birthday cards for his 100th birthday.

After chatting with my friend Lieutenant Colonel Barry Pitcher, he advised that he was going to see Fred with a little surprise from his past. Pitcher had pulled some strings and had a Bren light machine gun similar to the one Fred carried around Europe during his time in the Armed Forces.

Here are some of the images from that encounter.
